Martina Matrtajová

Martina is a mathematician with a passion for communication and complex problem solving. She is well versed in designing and leading educational experiences for diverse audiences: from training teachers and researchers, through onboarding HR teams, to teaching primary school students. During her mathematics and business degree at the University of Edinburgh she worked as a talent manager for AIESEC. Later she specialized in pure mathematics and graduated from the University of Warwick. After university, she applied her leadership and strategic thinking skills as a participant in the Teach for Slovakia program. In addition to teaching, she also led preparatory trainings for new participants in the program and facilitated a session on giving effective feedback at the OECD Forum ‘Učiteľ 21. storočia’. Prior to joining Maxman, she worked as an analyst and a data collection coordinator on the PIAAC research at NUCEM, where she managed a 40-member team and led trainings for 150 participants. In her free time, she prepares didactic materials and workshops for teachers for the NGO Zmudri. She also devotes her time to reading, hiking and deepening her key competencies - self-reflection, honesty and assertiveness.
